Terms of Use

1. The Service

SpeakPartner is currently offered as a free, non-commercial beta. It is a web application that helps you arrange practice sessions between partners and submit feedback after sessions. Availability, features, and terms may change as the project develops.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must create an account to use booking and partner matching features.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must not misuse the service or attempt to disrupt matches or sessions.

3. Video Calls

Sessions use a third-party video service for audio/video communication. You are required to provide video processing consent before joining the call. The third-party video provider's own terms and privacy policies apply.

4. Feedback and Content

After a session, you may submit partner feedback (ratings and optional free-text). By submitting feedback, you allow us to display it in the context of your anonymized history.

5. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time. We anonymize your identifying information in accordance with our GDPR account anonymization strategy. Partner numeric ratings remain in anonymized history; free-text feedback is redacted upon deletion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." SpeakPartner makes no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the service at your own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

The SpeakPartner name, logo, software, and design are our property. You may not copy, distribute, or commercially use them without our prior written permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

When using the service, you must not:

• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against others.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages.
• Violate others' privacy.
• Attempt to disrupt the security or functionality of the service.

Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised Terms.
